Mail Art

I found a blog today that soley features mail art. So I thought I'd add my 2 cents worth by sending Cavellec Jean Luc a surprise in the post. This is my envelope, back and front. The back, above, is a mixture of stamping and doodling. The front is pure doodle! I can't help it - I JUST LOVE to DOODLE! If you would like to mail art me, then follow these INSTRUCTIONS please:
Click on the back of my envelope (above) and you'll get an enlarged version. There you'll be able to see my address more clearly. Send me your mail art and I'll send you some back - just don't forget to put your address on the back of your postcard or envelope!

Happy Easter!!
I'm away for the week - a walking ('tramping'!!) holiday in North Cyprus.

On my return I'll definitely be mail art-ing you!! Any excuse for a good doodle! ;-)

Delightful!
I think we've lost a lot with the decline in sending letters etc.
Whenever I visit a gallery, museum or exhibition I pick up artsy postcards to send to family & friends.

Love it! Sorry for the incorrect post - I was at lunch at work and read it too quick. Look for art to come from USA!

Not a problem my lovely Creative Jar of goodies! Just follow my instructions and all will be well with the world! (Because mail art will be making it a much prettier world to be in!!)

What a total fun idea. To bad I don't know how to even lift a pencil.

You don't need to be able to lift a pencil! Just get some magazines, some scissors, some glue and a couple of stamps and with your appreciation for art, you could make the most beautiful collages!

Note: Angie Rodriguez did a very good posting on how non-artists can make the coolest mail art. Here it is: http://gooduniverseblog.blogspot.com/2009/02/for-petunia.html
