5 More New ACEOS and a change of direction on the ICE...

Cupid and Psyche
ACEO

The Nude

The Bather
ACEO

Well, as you can see, I have my sewing machine back!  It was out of order for quite some time, so I'm now making up for that lost time!  These are once again in my Ebay store - 5 more for the week...the 3 above and the 2 below, which were made for the ACEO enthusiast's group on Ebay.  The challenge this week is "Head", hence my offerings below:

The Red Head
ACEO

The Headdress

I have also done a bit more work on my ICE project (for those of you who don't know, ICE stands for International Collage Exchange).  I'm a bit of a perfectionist as you  may or may not know and this series is no exception.  I felt the following collage was unfinised:
I didn't feel the leaf, lower left, nor the stamp (upper right).  I also wanted it to look more aged.  So I played with it and have now developed it into this:
Now I just need to finish it with an eyelet hole in each corner and string threaded through each hole in order to create a frame.  Then, I think it's done, as the string should pull it all into shape.  I am now working on my 5th ICE collage - this one is about the Manawatu River, in its current state of affairs (which isn't pretty, let me tell you).  Stay tuned for that.

Well, that's pretty much it for me...shameless promotion of my wares and a quick ICEy update.
Short and sweet but hopefully a little bit interesting...

Wow - very busy here. It's always interesting to see when an artist puts something out there that isn't quite right and then see the changes. Nice tweeking there.

Wow, wow, wow. The ICE project piece is coming along so well. You redid it so much, I had to study it to make sure it was still the same piece. Amazing, amazing.

Glad your sewing machine is home, too.

Your updated collage for ICE is spectacular. Following your intuition and continuing to work on the piece really paid off in a big way!

loving the changes to the ICE collage and am so glad you're going with the frame idea -- that will be fantastic.

i hope you're feeling better ASAP, love. we'll chat tomorrow if you're up for it, or soon.
