Hitting the snooze button...

Hello all, just a wee message from me letting you know that I'm having a break from blogging for a few weeks....  I'm sure this happens to all bloggers at some stage. As I'm a particularly passionate blogger you can be rest assured that I 'll be back though!  I just need to recharge my batteries and spend time cherishing my two year old before I lose his two-year-oldness forever.  As well as that, I'm tired.  Exhausted in fact (you could probably thank the two year old for that too, lol!), so I've sworn myself off everything but drawing in my journals and lots and lots of reading oh, and Pulp Redux...of course!  Anyway, have fun out there in blog land - it's a wonderful place!!  And don't forget there is heaps on my blog here to keep you going for a while too....years worth of archives, in fact, lol!
Loves to you all!

Enjoy your blogging break. Will think of you- and the best part about being a blogger is that we can continue to look at your work through all of your prior posts!! They are all so rich - just like an amazing movie- we can view your work over and over again- love it all the more and continue to see things we've never seen before. Hugs!

Dear Debrina,

It is most important to take time off and especially since there is a two year old involved and those years are a treasure.

As I am also on a leave of absence from blogging, I have discovered that the little extra time is now spent creating a number of new small paintings when ever I have time and energy.

When you return, I too will be here to welcome you back.

Wishing you all the very best,
Egmont

Hi everyone - thanks for your kind words and wishes. I will still try and keep in contact as much as I can. My break away from blogging has so far not been very restful: punctuated with illness and lack of creative energy. Hopefully next week will be a better week!!

Hey, I remember that two year old tiredness. I've just become Mum to a teenager, so I'm missing that 2 year old stage, cherish it while you can. Oh and if you are interested there is a bit of exciting news on my blog
